Dignity & Respect for Youth

Youth Anthem

Tip 10 – Be a Relationship Builder

The Dignity & Respect Campaign is proud to partner with parents, teachers, administrators, leaders of youth programs and schools to promote positive behaviors for youth, help young people learn to deal with people who are different, and complement anti-bullying initiatives.

On any given day, as many as 160,000 students stay home because they are afraid of being bullied. One out of four teens is a victim of bullying, either at school or online. The problem is even more significant for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) students, with nine out of ten experiencing harassment.
Together, we have created Dignity & Respect Zone for Youth, a recognized safe place for youth in our communities and schools to learn, grow, and play. R U in the D&R Zone?
